Eligibility for Boys, Girls
The girls championship is open to anyone from ages 8 to 18 who have not yet entered college. The rule was changed in 2005 to include all girls rather than only those from Tarrant County and surrounding towns.
The boys championship, also for ages 8 to 18, is limited to residents of Tarrant County and a few surrounding towns. If part of a town/city is in Tarrant County, then juniors from that town/city are eligible. The list of Tarrant County towns and other eligible towns include:
