Here are several handy links to popular junior golf websites. Many junior golfers play in several tournaments during the summer months and many of these sites include schedules and other information.

The Fort Worth Junior Golf Association encourages beginners to obtain information about the First Tee at Rockwood Golf Course in Fort Worth. The FWJGA encourages juniors to either enter that program or take lessons before attempting to play in a tournament. Be sure to learn at least the basic rules and golf etiquette. The USGA has publications that will help teach both, as well as other publications.

Besides the First Tee, inquire about lessons with a local professional. The better prepared a junior is for a tournament, the more fun he/she will have.
