It might be a little scary for those chasing Gabriella Dominguez, but she still isn't satisfied with the way she's playing despite building a lead after the second round Tuesday at Diamond Oaks Country Club. She shot a one-over 71 from the white tees. Carly Ragains, who plays for Flower Mound Marcus and was a walk-up on Monday morning and is at 144. She had the next best score of 73 to take over second. April McCoy of Carrollton is in third at 146 after a 75, and Grace Choi of Dallas, who scrapped out a 76 despite a double and triple bogey over the tight, tree-lined course that measured 5,920 from the white tees, is at 147.

Leading the 18-hole 1st Flight is Rainy Manor, who shot a 75 from the red tees for a 154 total. She has a three-shot lead over Megan Richardson. Keegan Moore has a seven-shot lead over Casey Edwards with a 166 in the 2nd Flight. In the 3rd Flight, Layla Fowler is only ahead of Zoey C. Daneshfar with her 177. Other flight leaders are Hannah Ransear (4th); Anna Heinzelmann (5th); Elena Cervantez (6th), and Taylore Parish (7th). Note: The 6th and 7th flights will be playing only nine holes in the final round.

In the 9-hole division, Alexandra Batista shot a 31 from shortened tees to to build an 11-shot lead in the Championship Flight with a 64 total. Other flight leaders include Brooke Hicks (1st) and Maddie Vondra (2nd).
